You’ll find it hard to believe you are really there, as you sit in your private garden and enjoy views over the River Fal, across Falmouth Bay all the way across to St Mawes.
The living area is large, filled with light, and surrounded by windows, savouring and accentuating the exquisite views on offer. Take a seat on one of the two comfy sofas or one of the two armchairs and gaze out over the azure waters of the bay, framed by the verdant greens of the formal gardens and the soft pale blue of the sky. As if the huge picture window didn’t give you enough to look at, there is also a large television so you can keep up with your favourite shows or the day’s news.
A patio door leads you from this room out into the south facing terrace. Back inside, you’ll find glazed double doors at the rear of the living room, which lead through to the ground floor bedroom. In this light and airy room, you’ll find a comfy double bed, plenty of storage, and handy corner space complete with desk. With WiFi throughout the home, this is the perfect place to check in with your friends online, catch up on emails, or research the many exciting sights and activities you can experience during your stay.
The well-appointed kitchen is the ultimate place to relax and socialise. There’s a large dining table to gather the family around, and the impressive view from the bifold doors leading to the terraced area, looking out across the gardens to the water, is sure to add a dash of delight to breakfasts, lunches and dinners. You’ll find everything you need in the stylish kitchen, which includes an island area for easy prepping. The units are finished with granite worktops, and the walk-in larder ensures there is enough space for all your groceries.
Leading off from the kitchen is a convenient shower room, complete with walk-in shower, WC and basin. You’ll also find a handy utility room nearby, which comes with a washing machine and tumble dryer so you don’t need worry about getting sandy, muddy, or covered in ice cream while you are out and about exploring.
To keep the kids occupied, there is a second living area on the ground floor which is furnished with a wall mounted TV, a games console, and even a tennis table. It’s a great place for the young ones to hang out and promises to keep them occupied for hours, allowing the adults to have some chill out time of their own.
You’ll find four bedrooms on the first floor. The main bedroom offers everything you would expect from a master suite and more, including a super king bed, dressing room, and ensuite bathroom complete with WC, bidet, bath with shower, and a hand basin. This room offers peace and tranquillity galore: you can lie in bed and enjoy stunning views across the water for the perfect start or end to any day.
The second bedroom is also a double bedroom, complete with a king-size bed and those stunning views across the water. A Jack and Jill bathroom, complete with walk-in shower, WC, basin, and luxurious heated floor, serves both bedroom two and bedroom three, which features bunkbeds.
In the fourth bedroom you will find two single beds, and there’s a further family bathroom featuring a walk-in shower so there’s plenty of space for everyone to get up and ready in the morning without wasting half a day queueing for the shower!
As if this amazing house and its quarter acre of well-appointed gardens wasn’t enough, you’ll find a path that leads from the top of the garden to a delightful area of woodland that is often thronging with bluebells and other wildflowers. Make your way through the trees and you’ll eventually come out at the waterside.
It’s a very short walk to Loe Beach water sports centre, from which you can hire kayaks, paddle boards, dinghies, and motorboats. As they are an RYA centre they also offer lessons and courses, so whether you’re a complete novice or total pro, you’ll soon be out enjoying those glistening Cornish waters to the full. The beach cafe offers locally sourced delights and a selection of irresistible cakes.
There are plenty of pubs nearby, and those with their own boat can even pop across to the Pandora Inn or Mylor Yacht Harbour.
