Following a spectacular restoration, the iconic Chain Locker on Falmouth’s historic quayside offers stylish, contemporary accommodation and dining with the distinctive charm of a 16th century inn.
Located on the second floor, six new boutique bedrooms are the highlight of the six-month refurbishment project. Contemporary and inviting, each room has smart en-suite shower rooms, divinely comfortable Vi-Spring beds, quirky vintage furnishings, Orla Kiely toiletries and four of the rooms boast breath taking coastal views. Each room has a hairdryer, tea and coffee trays and there is WIFI throughout.
The restaurant on the first floor provides unrivalled waterside views of the bustling quay and spectacular natural beauty of Carrick Roads with two fantastic new balconies, perfect for dining alfresco. Downstairs, the original bar has been brought back to its former glory retaining the ambience loved by locals and visitors alike.
Situated on the waterside and bang in the middle of Falmouth, an array of shops, cafes, restaurants and the National Maritime Museum are just on the doorstep. Just a short walk away, you’ll find Falmouth’s famous beaches and stunning coastal paths that are just waiting to be explored.
