Falmouth has the third largest natural harbour in the world and is a mecca for all types of watersports. You can charter a traditional yacht for day or weekend sailing in our spectacular waters. You can also go diving in Falmouth Bay and explore the local reef systems. Falmouth Golf Club is one of the oldest in Cornwall and occupies a beautiful position overlooking the sea. Killiow and Truro golf clubs are also nearby, making Falmouth an ideal base for a golfing break.

Falmouth School of Sailing (FSOS) is a well established family run recognised Royal Yachting Association (RYA) training centre, with a vast and respected reputation throughout the maritime industry in Cornwall. We offer RYA training from beginner to professional skipper level. We also offer a large range of classroom and online theory courses in Basic Navigation, Day Skipper, Coastal Yachtmaster & Ocean Yachtmaster. To support our practical and theory courses we offer a large range of specialist short courses in VHF-GMDSS Marine Radio, First Aid, Diesel Engine Maintenance and Radar.

Wet Wheels South West
We offer accessible powerboating experiences, enabling people with any disability, including those with profound and complex disabilities, to enjoy the sea in a safe, stimulating and rewarding way aboard a purpose-built, fully-accessible powerboat.
The boat features wheelchair access with a ramp to the steering position and adapted steering controls to suit people with reduced mobility. It has space for family, friends and carers to share the experience with disabled participants.
