We bought The Dog House B&B, Penryn in the Autumn of 2019 and have spent the whole of Covid19 Lockdown renovating, remodelling and refurbishing the accommodation. We now offer a choice of two mini-suites, a generous single and a compact double/twin. Both are fully equipped with new en suite shower rooms, memory-foam mattresses, flat-screen TV and DVD player, and tea/coffee making in your private entrance lobby on the first floor.
We have limited parking on site but we do have a rather steep drive, so if you prefer there is also a parking area about 75 metres away. We are usually able to collect you from Penryn Station if travelling by train. We are also only 100 metres from the no.69 bus route to Falmouth, Flushing and Mylor.
Our south-facing dining room is a pleasant place to enjoy your breakfast with us – we serve a full English including eggs, smoked bacon, local sausages, tomato, mushrooms, baked beans and hash brown. There are help-yourself cereals, juice, yogurts and toast and we make tea and coffee when you want it. If you fancy smoked haddock, kippers or smoked salmon as an alternative we just need 24 hours notice; there is no extra charge. We are happy to cook a vegetarian breakfast if you prefer.
