More What’s on in Falmouth this Christmas

Christmas Fair & Walking Parade 10am – 6pm

8th – December – Old Brewery Yard, High Street  

Come along and find some beautiful hand crafted stocking fillers, gifts and decorations. Enjoy the festive season in the warm and welcoming atmosphere of one of Falmouth’s oldest areas. Mulled wine and roast chestnuts will be available to really get you in the mood, (although if you are entering the parade you may want to go steady!)

 The walking parade will leave from Brewery Yard at 1pm so if you want to join in please arrive no later than 12.45pm to get in line. Everyone is welcome so pull on those Santa Costumes, grab some elves, fairies and just about anyone else adorned in festive regalia. The parade will make its way through Falmouth’s main street ending at Events Square.

Santa Day

15th December – Starting on Falmouth Moor

Join together to support entrants in the annual Santa Run as they run, jog & walk to raise money for Cornwall Hospice Care.There is still time to ENTER if you would like to get involved.

Not only are the streets filled with hundreds of Santa’s but there will be live music on the Moor and a chance to see Santa in his Grotto.

Poly Christmas Bazaar

15th – 22 December – Royal Polytechnic Society – Church Street

10am – 5pm – Monday – Saturday

10am – 3.30pm – Saturday

Artwork, ceramics, glassware and jewellery are just some of the beautifully handcrafted items available to purchase at the Poly’s Christmas Bazaar. Food prepared from local produce and refreshments in abundance from the Poly’s own Coffee Corner will be tempting your senses.

Marlbourough School Choir will be setting the mood with a performance of Christmas carols on the opening day at 12pm.

If after purchasing and perusing you are inspired by the wealth of creativity then a variety of workshops will run throughout the week, (charges applied). The workshops will be the perfect opportunity for the under 10’s to create their own unique Christmas tree decoration. Prizes for the best decorations will be awarded on the 22nd at 12pm after the tree has been decorated with the entries.
