They are at it again those Scary Little Girls. If you haven’t experienced this alternative approach to literature and history then today is your final chance, (well during ‘Splash’ festival anyway. Starting at the Princess Pavilion you will follow a map through Falmouth’s town center. Don’t think this will be any ordinary walk though.

Performed by actors from the Nutshell theater ‘Allotment’ takes you on a journey of discovery. Watch as the relationship between sisters, Dora & Maddy plays out among the crops and flowers of their allotment. The dark comedy celebrates gardening, life and the seasons. Hailed as one of the Nutshell Theaters best performances it will intriguing to see how they answer many questions including, ‘Do flowers matter more than vegetables?’ Good question all though hay fever sufferers would argue there is no question about it.
Plastic Botany – David Kemp -Falmouth Art Gallery – 10th – 17th September
David Kemp’s surrealist inspired plastic sculptures are exhibited alongside work from the, ‘British Surrealists’. David’s botany focus is a fascinating contribution to the exhibition alongside the interpretation of dreams and the subconscious of his fellow exhibitors. This exhibition is certainly worth a visit as is the historic Falmouth Art Gallery.
